An Explanation...
I guess I should explain, since a few people have asked about the title of my blog. One of my all time favorite songs is "Smile" by Nat King Cole. After going through some rough times, it was almost like a motto of mine: "Smile, though your heart is aching." Well, I am certainly not aching now; my life is at a very happy point, that I have worked very hard to come to. Now, I have people, mainly my patients, tell me that they love that I am always smiling. I am now able to find the good in just about any situation and am finally able to provide strength to the people around me. I am proud to have come to this point, and that is where the title comes from: There is a lot more to me than a smiling face, and I am far beyond the point in my life where my smile is just for show.

Your smile is beautiful and genuine. There are those that just put on a smile (which we have to do sometimes), but you can always tell those whose smile generates from the inside, and yours tells the real story. The story that is learned and that is true, you can be joyful despite the circumstances around you - because there is always something to be thankful for. Continue with your contagious smile - others will catch on eventually. Thank you for smiling with us through our storm.
