The Big 2-5!

Well, yesterday was my 25th birthday. I have been telling people for years that once I hit 25, I was done aging. I still haven't found a logical explanation for how this is going to work, but I still think that its a good plan. I am somewhat jaded by people like my co-workers who love to tell me all the little not so fun things about being a woman who is aging. "Just wait until you are 30 and your metabolism really slows down..." "Eventually, you will have hot flashes too, so quit turning on the heat..." ETC... I realize that I have a ways to go before some of these things start to happen, but why do people feel the need to try to scare me or make me dread getting older? I have a lot of living to do and I am going to make damn sure that I have a good time doing it.

As for my birthday... it was wonderful! I took Stitch to his agility class, which was the last puppy class and he is now a graduate. Alan and I played tennis for a few hours in the afternoon. We are a good match for each other because neither of us are terribly good. Then, we had dinner at Andiamo. It was delicious. We had never been there and it was worth all of the hype I have always heard. We will go back. After dinner, we met my good friend Brie and her boyfriend at The Melting Pot for a drink and a chocolate fondue dessert. Every bit of that was fabulous!

Oh, yeah... and Alan got me a Coach purse. He knows me so well. All in all I would have to say it was a fantastic birthday. Thank you everyone who left me such nice messages to read :) Here's to MANY more good birthdays and finding a way not to age, lol.

Hey Christine,
Happy B-lated Bday to our Favorite Nurse! I had no idea it was your birthday - I am glad that you had a nice day - you deserve it - for all the good you do! And WOW, a Coach purse - Alan did good - can you have him call Scott? :-) Anyhow, I'm not too much older, but as for getting older - don't listen to what everyone says - enjoy each moment of each day - and remember you don't get older only better! Love from the Wisers!

For some reason I thought you were older! I think I just assume everyone who is getting married this year is the same age as me and people who got married before me are older, like different class years in school. :)
Happy belated birthday. Nothing bad to say about 27! :)
