Happy Halloween!

Halloween is one of my favorite days of the year... and I am finally in the perfect place to really get into it. Northville goes ALL OUT for Halloween. We had a GIANT shopping bag of candy filled up completely and we still ran out with about 45 min of trick or treating left. I was a little surprised by all of the adults who were walking around asking for candy, and many of the "kids" appeared to be my age. Our friend, Ryan was dressed as Lt. Dangle and the "kids" who knew who he was, we told were too old to be asking for candy... some of them left. (lol).

I made way too much food for our party, but I couldn't turn down all the cute recipes I found like spider web hard boiled eggs, babybel spiders, and breadstick bones. We tried to make black vodka martinis, but it turns out that putting food coloring in vodka not only makes it look nasty, but it stains everything!

A special shout out to Kelly, who helped me so much and may have done more cooking than I did! :) Stitch was not so thrilled with the whole experience and had to spend some time in his cage while people were coming to the porch.

Here are a few photos of the day. The rest are on facebook.

You're totally welcome for the help on Halloween, and I really didn't do that much. I had a great time and loved all the kiddos and of course the great food creations :)
